Marine Educator Workshop

A full day of hands-on marine science for Bahamian high school educators. Join the Perry Institute for Marine Science Centre for Coastal and Environmental Awareness (CCEA) for a workshop designed to enhance teachers marine science and conservation knowledge.

What youll take home:

• Hands-on training with scientific tools and methods used in the field
• Review and walk-through of our new Marine Conservation Curriculum activities
• A teaching kit with lesson plans, laminated waterproof field guides, species ID guides, and activity sheets
• Co-design sessions with other marine educators
• Access to PIMS educational resources

Format: In-person at Windsor Albany Campus in New Providence, with a virtual option available for family island educators.
